ARE THERE ANY LIMITATIONS ON THE AMOUNT I CAN SPEND WITH MY ATHO-RYNG?
Contactless payment rings typically have a spending limit that varies by payment provider and region. In many cases, transactions above a certain threshold may require additional verification, such as entering a PIN or signing a receipt. It is advisable to check with your bank for specific limits associated with your ring.
CAN I LINK MULTIPLE CARDS TO THE RING?
Currently, due to specificities of payment terminals operations, one ring can be linked to one bank card at a time. However, you can easily switch your linked card using the VegaPay mobile app. To change the card, you need to remove current bank card and link another one. When the new card is loaded onto the ring, the old one is erased.
CAN I RETURN OR EXCHANGE MY RING?
Yes, we offer a 14-day return and exchange policy. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition and packaging. Please visit our Return Policy page for more details.
DOES ATHO-RYNG REQUIRE CHARGING OR A BATTERY?
No, the ring does not require any charging or battery. It uses NFC (Near Field Communication) technology, which operates without an internal power source.
Avoid exposure to electromagnetic radiation, direct sunlight, aggressive environments, and surface
contamination.
DOES THE RING WORK INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes, Atho-Ryng works anywhere that supports NFC contactless payments. However, international usage may depend on your bank’s policies. It is important to check with your payment provider regarding any potential fees or restrictions that may apply when using your ring abroad.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY CONTACTLESS PAYMENT RING?
- To maintain the integrity and appearance of your contactless payment ring, it is advisable to clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
- Avoid exposing the ring to harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the finish.
- Additionally, it is recommended to remove the ring during activities that may subject it to excessive force or impact. Prevent dynamic mechanical impacts, such as hitting the ring or striking hard surfaces with a hand
wearing the ring. - Prevent static mechanical impacts, such as applying force to the ring when lifting a barbell or
exercising on a pull-up bar. - Avoid dropping from any height
- Do not wear two payment rings or rings made of any type of metals and alloys on the same hand, or in a way that could make them collide.
HOW DO I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
This functionality is available on your profile page in the app on your mobile. All data linked to your account will be deleted, all tokens will be deactivated and all accessories unlinked. The ring cannot be used for payment until it will be again linked to another account and a new token issued and loaded. Given that the plan is linked to a specific wearable, the ring retains its current plan even after relinking to another account.
HOW DO I FIND MY CARD NUMBER?
You can find your bank card number on the front side of your card or via your bank mobile application if it supports this feature.
HOW DO YOU STORE MY DATA?
Only minimal set of data are stored ; only those required to identify the ring’s owner when providing technical support. All information is stored on servers in respective regions and in compliance with local regulations.
HOW MANY RINGS CAN I LINK TO MY ACCOUNT?
Currently you can link up to 20 payment rings to a single account.
HOW MANY VIRTUAL CARDS (TOKENS) CAN I ISSUE FORMY BANK CARD?
International payment schemes limit the number of tokens issued. Currently each Mastercard card can have up to 99 tokens linked.
HOW SECURE IS THE ATHO-RYNG FOR PAYMENTS?
Atho-Ryng is as secure as using your contactless bankcard. It follows bank-level encryption standards, and you can enable or disable payments via the mobile app at any time.
I CANNOT PAY WITH MY ACCESSORY AND IT IS ACTIVATED
To inquire on your bank account please contact your bank. You can find your bank’s contact details in the mobile application:
1. Log into the application with your account
2. On “My Devices” screen choose the ring in question
3. Press the Card icon
4. Choose “Card Information”
5. Press “Contact bank”
IS THE RING WATERPROOF AND DURABLE?
Yes! The Atho-Ryng is completely waterproof, scratch-resistant, and made with premium materials to ensure durability in everyday use. It operates under the following conditions:
- Humidity between 10% and 95%
- Temperature from -18ºC to 50ºC
Water contact is permissible, for example, taking a shower or swimming in bodies of water (the product complies with IPx8 protection).
MY ACCESSORY IS NOT WORKING
In case your ring has no physical damage, you need to contact support via “Support” button in the mobile application, or submit a ticket on our website. Do not forget to attach an image or a screenshot and describe the problem.
MY PHONE BATTERY IS DEAD AND MY ACCESSORY IS DEACTIVATED
To ensure security, you can only activate your accessory after logging into your account in the mobile application. It is a security feature in case the ring is lost.
WHAT IS ATHO-RYNG AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Atho-Ryng is a contactless payment ring that allows you to make secure transactions by simply tapping on any NFC-enabled payment terminal.
It works by linking to your bank card through a secure mobile app. You can
complete purchases without the need for cash or cards. This technology is designed to enhance convenience while maintaining a high level of security.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY ATHO-RYNG?
If your ring is lost or stolen, you can immediately deactivate it via the mobile app. This will help prevent unauthorized transactions. If you find it back, you can also easily reactivate it in the mobile app.
WHAT IS PERSONALISATION?
Personalisation is the process of issuing a bank card for a specific user in a bank personalization center. A similar process applies for the wearables, including payment rings.
To use the personalisation scheme, the bank can use existing personalisation center facilities: it does not need to be connected to the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES).
WHAT IS TOKENIZATION?
Tokenization is a process of creating a virtual card, to reduce usage risks. It replaces the PAN number of a real card with an alternative PAN number: the virtual does not disclose the details of the original card. To use the tokenization scheme, the bank should be connected to the Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES).
The virtual card created is a depersonalized token that is linked to a physical card and associated to your ring. Even if the accessory is lost or stolen, your funds are safe.
Our manufacturer provides the service to issue tokens, to load them onto your ring(s) and to manage the tokens (virtual cards) and payment rings.

Atho-Ryng supports Visa and Mastercard debit/credit cards from major banks worldwide.
